Allen Named Player of the Week
★ posted on October 18, 2011
In a game that was both a critical district contest and a big game in the state, the Prosper QB saved his best performance for the biggest stage in the Eagles’ 55-21 win over Lucas Lovejoy.
Allen, a 6-foot, 205-pound dual-threat QB, threw for 398 yards and five touchdowns in the victory. That would normally be enough to win this honor, but he went even further, running for another 167 yards and two scores. He was unstoppable, even with the pressure of playing in the game highlighted by the presence of the Fox Football Friday powered by DCTF set in the end zone.
Congratulations to Javelle and to the Eagles on the award and the victory.
